Visiting during the fall or spring semester
In the fall, we offer prospective students the opportunity to visit Temple and learn more about the Honors Program. These visits include meeting with an Honors academic advisor, as well as meeting with current Honors students. Beginning in the spring semester, we offer admitted Honors students the opportunity to meet with Honors staff, faculty, and students, tour Temple, visit the Honors Living Community, and sit in on an Honors class.
We request that you schedule your appointment at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to visit. All Honors visits are scheduled through the Honors Office, and we prefer them to be on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. We do not hold weekend or overnight visits. If you are interested in visiting campus on the weekend, please visit the Admissions website for information.
General campus tours can be requested through the Undergraduate Admissions office.
Please do not fill out the Honors Program Visit Request form if you would like to schedule your visit during the Summer.
The Honors Program is located in 204 Tuttleman Learning Center on Main Campus.
Temple is also easily accessible by public transportation using the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).
The Conwell Inn with 22 deluxe guest rooms and suites, is located on campus, but rooms are reserved quickly. If you are interested in staying at the Conwell Inn please make your reservation well in advance. A number of Philadelphia hotels offer discounted rates for guests conducting business with Temple University. Be sure to mention you would like the Temple University Rate when making your reservation. Most hotels on this list are located in Center City Philadelphia, which is about a 10 minute cab ride from campus.
