Temple Honors students are good at what they do, and they do many, many things. Whether it is starting a sustainable urban farm to support their neighborhood or getting a job at the UN working as a special advisor on Africa, they are incredible agents of change in Philadelphia, the United States, and beyond. We want to support our students in their many endeavors by providing them opportunities to reach their goals, so we decided to start a new grant program.
The Honors Student Grant Program is an Honors-funded and Honors-managed micro-grant program which allows current and future students to apply for funding for academic and extracurricular initiatives. We are open to all sorts of initiatives and grant submissions, such as field research, subsidizing living expenses while volunteering abroad, or even covering a SEPTA pass to intern downtown.
We hit our 30th birthday goal of $30,000 last year, but for this program to be sustainable we will need continued support. We appreciate any amount you can give so we can help a student help the world.
