Ava Daugherty '24
Hi! My name is Ava Daugherty (she/her) and I am a Sophomore majoring in Genomic Medicine and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. I am from Washington, D.C. and I took a gap year to study Mandarin in Taiwan. I chose Temple because the diverse community on campus and beyond fosters opportunities for every interest. Through Temple, I have worked as a Conversation Partner with the Student Success Center and completed research with the Kulathinal Lab. One of my favorite parts of Temple is the Honors Program because it is a tightly knit community of learners. Apart from life at Temple I love dog sitting, running, and vegetarian gluten-free cooking.
