Priya Doshi '22

Voorhees, NJ

Hi everyone! I'm Priya (she/her), and I am currently a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. My hometown is Voorhees, New Jersey which is only a 30-minute car ride from the main campus. I chose Temple University mainly because of the great family vibes I received from the Honors Program during Experience Temple Day. The transition from high school to college can be challenging, however, I knew I would be welcomed with open arms by the community at Temple University. I am so glad that I chose to come to Temple because this university has given me many opportunities. Aside from being an Honors Ambassador, I am the President of the Psi Chi Honor Society, a member of Honors Peer Mentor, and Psychology Majors Association. I have been working as a Research Assistant in the Wimmer Laboratory for the past two years conducting research regarding drug craving. I have been able to present my research at different conferences such as the Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creativity at Temple University and the Eastern Psychological Association! In my free time, I love to explore Philadelphia, eat at different restaurants, and dance! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me :)
