Hi! I'm Sam, a sophomore Biological Anthropology and Spanish double major on a Pre-Physician's Assistant track. I started my college career as a Biology major with a Spanish minor on a Pre-Med track, but after talking to some fellow Honors Ambassadors, I decided that becoming a Physician's Assistant was more my speed. Switching my Pre-Professional track allowed me some more flexibility in my course of study, so I switched my major and upgraded my Spanish minor. In addition to the courses for my majors, I also take science and kinesiology classes to prepare me for PA school! Over the summer, I became a Nationally Registered and Pennsylvania Certified EMT and I am currently running shifts with TUEMS, a student-run quick-rescue squad that operates on campus. I am also involved in HootaThon, Temple's student organization that raises money and awareness for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This summer I will be going to Peru with FIMRC for eight weeks to gain medical experience while also practicing and improving my Spanish. In my free time, I love watching and analyzing television shows (they're works of art!), hanging out with friends, and eating at Blaze Pizza multiple times a week. If you have any questions about becoming an EMT, getting involved on campus, or what toppings to get on your pizza, I'm your guy!
