Macy Galante '23
Hi! My name is Macy (she/her) and I am a junior Psychology major and Criminal Justice minor who is also working on a certificate in American Sign Language. I am from a suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois, so coming to Philly was a brand new experience for me. If Temple is far from home for you too, feel free to reach out because I have lots of tips and tricks for becoming comfortable in this big city! Outside of school, I love working with kids. I am currently the director of Camp Kesem, which is a group that supports children and families who have been affected by cancer. I am also a LAURA scholar researching adolescent development in inner city settings with the Child Health and Behavior Lab. In the city, I love looking for new restaurants with gluten and dairy-free options. If you are interested in working with kids or gluten and dairy-free alternatives around campus, lets chat!
