Roseilyn has a B.S. in Education and Public Policy and M.S. in Higher Education with a focus on Student Affairs, both from The Pennsylvania State University. Her passion for working with college students stems from her involvement in Residence Life, Greek Life, Diversity & Inclusion and TRiO Programs while at her alma mater. During her time at Penn State, Roseilyn loved being a Resident Counselor, a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, and working for the Paul Robeson Cultural Center so much so that she made it her life’s mission to work with college students. The knowledge and experiences she acquired all equipped her to support, advice, and empower students to take full advantage of the opportunities presented to them during their collegiate years.
Prior to being at Temple, Roseilyn worked at Amherst College as an Assistant Director of Residential Life and later on Case Manager. After nearly three years at Amherst and exploring the New England area, she has returned to the city she calls home. In between long weekend trips to Boston and making the hometown of Emily Dickinson her own, she remained active in her communities in Philadelphia. Although embracing new places and opportunities is exciting, Roseilyn’s goal has always been to give back to the city that gave her so much. As a first generation college graduate, Roseilyn has found that lifting as she climbs is her philosophy in life.
During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, hiking, and listen to podcasts. Roseilyn loves coffee, Nutella and traveling, so please come by her office to say “Hi!”, share traveling tips, and don’t be surprised if she is eating Nutella - from the jar. Roseilyn is elated to join the Honors team and invites you to stop by her office to chat, receive support, and share your experiences in and outside of Temple.
