Musu has a Bachelor’s degree in English from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Her decision to pursue a career in student services was an easy one for her after finishing her undergraduate studies: during her time at school she was a tour guide, orientation leader, peer mentor, and was high achieving on the field, track, and in the classroom. In May 2008, Musu graduated with a Master’s in Higher Postsecondary Education from Syracuse University. She also has a Doctorate in Urban Education from Temple University. During her time as a student affairs professional, she has worked with student organizations, campus programming, student conduct, LGBT resources, orientation programs, and academic advisement. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Musu enjoys jazz music, theatre, performance poetry, and all kinds of food. She loves to engage in the Philadelphia arts and cultural scene. Although she doesn’t run anymore, she’s still a track star at heart and loves to talk sports, from field hockey to football.
